Honnors for an HMIP player |
We would like to congratulate Justin Humenay – Atom BB – Drakkar Gold on his most recent achievement in placing 5th within Canada at the NHL Canadian Tire junior skills competition. As a finalist, Justin will compete for the National Championship this weekend in Ottawa during the NHL All- Star weekend and participate in the NHL activities for the All-Star game.

| Honors for the Drakkar Bantam BB de Vaudr’Ile ! |
The weekend of November 19th and 20th, the Bantam BB Drakkar was at the Sherbrooke tournament. They started the weekend by making the local papers for eliminating a local team, favorite to win the tournament. The Drakkar finished first in the round robin that included 16 teams. They went to the quarter finals and won to move on to the semi-finals. It was a tough physical game, they lost against the Quebec Champlain.
The honors of the most disciplined team, out of 44 teams, were awarded to the Drakkar at the end of the semi-final. The coaches would like to congratulate the Drakkar for their exceptional team spirit during the tournament. They will be surely remembered.

As you may know, November is prostate cancer month. As a support and awareness for all men affected by ths cancer, HMIP is happy to support this cause by asking all male members to grow a moustache for the entire month! Hope to see strong participation and support!
